Three Chevy Models Earn AutoPacific 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards | Edinburg, TX
Three new Chevrolet models — the 2021 Chevy Camaro, 2021 Chevy Colorado, and 2021 Chevy Blazer — recently earned the top honor in their segments in AutoPacific’s 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. That means that, among new drivers of eligible vehicles in each segment, the drivers with the highest satisfaction drove the Chevy models.
Specifically:
- The 2021 Camaro is the most satisfying sporty car.
- The 2021 Colorado is the most satisfying compact pickup.
- The 2021 Blazer is the most satisfying premium midsize crossover SUV.

About the AutoPacific 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards
This marks the 25th annual year for AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Each year, AutoPacific conducts an objective survey of nearly 90,000 new vehicle drivers, categorizing them into specific categories based on their vehicle segment. The survey tests driver satisfaction across 36 unique categories.
Vehicles that score the highest in their specific segment are then awarded the Vehicle Satisfaction Award for that segment.
“Our VSAs give consumers true, unbiased insight into which vehicles are providing their owners with the most satisfying experience,” explained AutoPacific president George Peterson.
2021 Chevrolet Camaro – Most Satisfying Sporty Car
The 2021 Chevy Camaro has long been a standout in the muscle car category, thanks to its impressive engine lineup, unmistakable styling, and tech-heavy interior. This year, it matched or beat out all its competitors (like the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger) in 29 out of 36 categories.
In particular, new Camaro owners rated it highly in areas like responsiveness, braking, easy-to-use controls inside the cabin, paint color options, and muscular styling on the exterior. Areas where the Camaro easily beat out the Mustang and Challenger included safety technologies (both standard and available), durability, reliability, quality, brand reputation, interior styling, comfort and adjustability of driver’s seat, center screen visibility and size, and the factory warranty.
2021 Chevrolet Colorado – Most Satisfying Compact Pickup
When the Chevy Colorado relaunched in the mid-2010s, it breathed life into a now competitive midsize truck segment that had been lackluster previously. Known for its power, efficiency, and off-road readiness, the 2021 Colorado had no trouble beating out the likes of the Nissan Frontier, Ford Ranger, and Toyota Tacoma. In total, the Chevrolet Colorado took home top marks or at least matched competitors in 23 out of the 36 attributes that were studied in this survey.
Drivers tended to rate the Colorado higher than competing midsize trucks in categories such as visibility, easy-to-use cabin controls, ease of ingress and egress, and handling. Drivers say it’s fun to drive and has great power and acceleration. Areas where the Colorado does exceptionally well against the likes of the 2021 Ranger and 2021 Tacoma included exterior styling and the intuitiveness and size of the interior touch screen.
2021 Chevrolet Blazer – Most Satisfying Premium Midsize Crossover SUV
Crossover SUVs continue to dominate the automotive market thanks to their versatility, efficiency, convenience, and safety technologies. And for those who can afford it, luxury is the way to go. Chevy does luxury on a budget with the 2021 Blazer, offering a supple interior and attractive exterior still with the leading power, efficiency, and safety numbers customers expect.
In the 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, the new Chevy Blazer claimed the highest satisfaction ratings in 25 out of 36 attributes, even when facing off against big names in the industry including the Hyundai Santa Fe, Buick Envision, Kia Sorento, and Ford Edge. While satisfaction runs the gamut for the 2021 Blazer, drivers were particularly happy with the peppy engine with great power and acceleration, as well as its sporty styling, easy-to-use technology, comfortable interior, and fun-to-drive attitude.
