Choose from several engines for the 2021 Silverado 1500:
The 2.7-liter Turbo with Active Fuel Management™ produces 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and boasts auto stop/start technology.
The 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 with Active Fuel Management™ produces 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Choose between Active and Dynamic Fuel Management™ for this engine. Active Fuel Management™ engines get a six-speed automatic transmission; Dynamic Fuel Management™ engines get an eight-speed or 10-speed automatic transmission and boast auto stop/start technology.
The 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management™ produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 13,300 pounds in a properly equipped Silverado 1500. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel produces 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, can tow up to 9,500 pounds, and earns up to 33 mpg on the highway, making the Silverado the most fuel-efficient pickup truck in America.* This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and boasts auto stop/start technology.
